Bi-Xenon headlamps with AFS

High-Intensity Discharge Bi-Xenon headlamps with Adaptive Frontlight System*

Together with the optional High-Intensity Discharge (HID) bi-xenon headlamps, comes the Adaptive Frontlight System (AFS). By measuring vehicle speed and steering wheel rotation, AFS predicts which area should be lit and adjusts headlamps accordingly, for instance as the car corners in the dark.

To compensate for a heavy rear load, AFS lowers the angle of the beam before starting. In addition, while driving you benefit from dynamic headlamp levelling: the headlamp angle is adjusted to compensate for heavy braking and acceleration.
